Letter to Seneca Point Road Community

Dear Neighbors,

It has come to our attention that a few members of the Bristol Harbour Community and a resident off of Seneca Point Road have been disseminating inaccurate information to our neighbors.

As many of you are aware, Fields Enterprises Inc (FEI) bought Bristol Harbour Marina shortly after Todd and Laura Cook bought the resort. At first there was some trepidation to having another “entity” own the Marina, but as FEI started to make the requested improvements desired by residents, all was copasetic for a few years. FEI gained the trust of the residents by cleaning up the racking area by building year round racks with a roof for protection, adding dock lighting, cleaning up the restrooms, and adding

larger slips to accommodate larger boats. FEI also employed 2 part time FLBR people to assist in dock maintenance. Additionally, FEI did not increase slip rental rates for 3 years to prove to the community our sincerity in being partners with the BHVA community.

To be clear; FEI has no intention of adding a gas dock. Furthermore, FEI is not pursuing an application to expand the Marina docks. FEI is not making Bristol Harbour a “commercial” Marina with more than an agreed upon non- residents slip rentals. 

Unfortunately, the Fields have been demonized by a few select individuals, who have misrepresented the truth. The Fields want nothing more than what has always been for over 50 years: residents first and then to fill in the blanks with a prescribed number of non residents to fill the Marina.
